Decisive season finale in Serie A
Inter supporters were in full voice last week at the San Siro, but Internazionale were unable to wrap up the Scudetto after a 2-2 draw with Siena. Inter had a 12 point advantage back in February, but after a string of bad results AS Roma are now only one point behind in the race for the title. Just like the English Premier League the Serie A title will go down to the wire, with Inter Milan travelling to Parma and AS Roma travelling to Catania. The title is not the only thing being decided on the final day of the season, with both Parma and Catania scrapping to avoid relegation to Serie B. Catania are two points clear of Parma at the bottom of the table and need at least a draw to survive. Parma on the other hand know that nothing but victory over the Serie A leaders on the final day will help in ensuring their Serie A status, after 18 years in the top flight.
